Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Custody Battle Begin

"I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids," Brad told People magazine.

According to TMZ, "There's no chance that's going to happen." Pitt wants joint custody ... he doesn't want to interfere with Angelina's ability to be a co-parent, but he won't allow her to thwart him, says Brad.

Adding that Angelina is a "great mother" he wouldn't want to hurt her in the divorce. 

Brad saddened by the divorce, Angelina Jolie is dreaming if she thinks she can take his kids away from him, she's not going to get her way when it comes to custody of their 6 kids.

Earlier report, Angelina wants sole physical custody of the children claiming that Brad indulges in weed and alcohol combined with an anger problem which poses a danger to their kids. She wants a judge to grant Brad only visitation.

The couple Brad and Angelina haven't gotten along for months and have had frank talks about divorce several times, so this wasn't a shock. 

Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from Pitt, 52, citing irreconcilable differences on Monday.
