Utom, a domestic staff of Chukwuemeka Aja, allegedly inserted his fingers into the private parts of the victims who are between ages of five and eight, causing them severe pains.
Utom, has been remanded in prison by an Abakaliki Magistrate’s Court for defiling three sisters of the same family.

First Charge
Utom, on September 15, this year, at Amachara Agbor, Afikpo-Abakaliki in Abakaliki Magisterial District, did unlawfully have carnal knowledge of the eldest of the three girls, aged eight years, thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 358 of the Criminal Code Cap 33 Vol. 1 Laws of Ebonyi State of Nigeria 2009”
Second Charge
Utom, on the same date and place, unlawfully had carnal knowledge of the second of the sisters, aged seven years, thereby committing an offence punishable under the above laws.
Third Charge
Count 3 stated that Utom, on the same date and place, unlawfully had carnal knowledge of the third girl, aged five years, and thereby committing an offence punishable under the same.
The screaming of the victims, attracted their mother, who was cooking in the kitchen when the incident occurred, a source said.
The source said: “The woman quickly contacted her husband and Utom was immediately handed over to policemen at Afikpo North Divisional Police to prevent angry youths, who had gathe-red, from lynching him.”
