Rod Temperton, songwriter behind Thriller is dead
British writer of the huge Michael Jackson hit, who also worked with Aretha Franklin,Quincy Jones and Anita Baker has died of cancer at the age of 66.
The news about his death was announced by Jon Platt of Warner/Chappell that Temperton died in London last week at the age of 66 after "a brief aggressive battle with cancer".
