A 38-year-old woman was strangulated to death by her nephew in Outer Delhi’s Aman Vihar area after she resisted attempt of the accused to molest her.
The victim’s nephew, identified as Chintu (19) initially claimed that she fell unconscious after falling from stairs on Wednesday afternoon, but investigator found after postmortem that she died after she was strangulated.

Police arrested the victim's nephew Chintu on the charges of murder and has been sent to judicial custody. He was later produced before a local court.
"Initially he tried to mislead the police by giving false account of the incident but after the sustained interrogation, he broke down and confessed that he had killed her," said an official.
